What we keep
Pre-book. We keep your name, your email address, which piece and which size it concerns, and whatever you write in the message field. We also keep the time the pre-book arrived.
Personal advice. When you send a request we keep your name, your email address, what you want help with, which piece it concerns, what you write, when a video call suits you and the photo if you send one. We also keep the time the request arrived.
Emails we send. For every email the site sends, we keep the address it went to, its subject and whether it went out, so we can see that no email got stuck.
WhatsApp. The WhatsApp buttons on the site are plain links, so nothing goes to WhatsApp until you click one. Clicking opens a chat with us in WhatsApp, which Meta owns, and WhatsApp's own privacy policy covers what happens there. On a piece page the chat opens with the piece's name already typed, and you can change it before you send. If you write to us, we see your phone number, your WhatsApp name and what you write. We delete the chat twelve months after your last message.
Why
The information is used for one thing: replying to you about the piece you pre-booked or about what you asked us. We do not use it for mailings, advertising or profiling, and we do not pass it to anyone who wants to sell you something.
When you pay for a pre-book, your order details (your name, email, phone, delivery address, the piece and its size or your measurements) go by email to the maker who sews your piece, so the piece can be sewn and delivered to you.
Where it is held
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and the pre-books, the requests and the record of emails sent are stored in a Cloudflare database. Cloudflare processes the data on our behalf. Email to the addresses on this site is handled by Zoho. The emails the site sends, such as the confirmation of your pre-book, go out through Zoho ZeptoMail, Zoho's email sending service, which handles them in Zoho's data centre in India.
For how long
A pre-book that leads to nothing is deleted at the latest twelve months after it arrived. If it later becomes a purchase, the records are kept for as long as Swedish accounting law requires. A request for advice is deleted twelve months after it arrived. If it becomes an order, the order is kept for as long as Swedish accounting law requires. The record of an email we sent is deleted twelve months after it was sent.
Cookies
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, to see which pages people read and how fast they load. It records the page, which site sent you here, your country, and your type of device, browser and operating system. It sets no cookie, stores nothing on your device and does not try to recognise who you are. Cloudflare runs it on our behalf, like the rest of the site.
The site sets one cookie, and only when you put a piece in the cart: it holds which pieces, sizes and how many, nothing about you, and it is gone when you close the browser. The cart needs it to work, and the visit count uses no cookie, so there is no cookie banner to click away.
Your rights
You have the right to know what we hold about you, to have it corrected and to have it deleted. Write to hej@bhadhram.com and we will do it. If you are unhappy with how we handle it, you can contact the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection.
